Sign Statement of Principles
We feel strongly that the proposed redevelopment and private 30-year lease of the George Robert White Stadium planned by the City of Boston and Boston Unity Soccer Partners LLC must be reconsidered. A new proposal for renovating the stadium and surrounding areas, in thoughtful coordination with the surrounding park areas, should be pursued in accordance with the approved Franklin Park Action Plan and established public processes.

Donate to support this Work
Help advocate for a thoughtful, community-first plan for restoring White Stadium in Franklin Park! Built in 1945, White Stadium is used year-round by Boston Public Schools athletes and Franklin Park users, but it is in desperate need of repair. A recent proposal to expand the stadium for a professional soccer team has left many community members worried that the space is being taken without proper environmental review or public process, and that athletic programs like high school football will be displaced as a result.
